Judy O

In December, 2004 I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma Stage III. I began chemotherapy in January, 2005 until May, 2005 when I was pronounced in remission.

My remission continues today with a clear CT Scan in May of this year.

My cancer certainly gave me an opportunity to look at life and it's beauty. My journey continues with the love and prayers of friends and family.

Finally getting back to the space!

It's been a busy past few weeks.  I spent one week baby sitting JT and Gabrielle while their mommy was recuperating from having a new baby.

Last week I watched them a day and a half while Jessica attended a funeral.

Now I am home and hoping to stay here for a while!

Now it's time to work in my flowers and yard!  See the new pictures of my flowers I have posted.

Finally we had a small amount of rain!

We finally had a small amount of rain but not much.  Every little bit helps though.

Nicer weather completely.  Great for our garage sale tomorrow and Saturday.

Today

I am currently in Illinois with my two grandchildren Gabrielle and JT.  Their mother delivered her baby yesterday so I will be staying with these two this week while Patrick works days.  Their mother will most likely be back on her feet next week and then will have four children to deal with everyday!

Memorial Day, 2006

Today is Memorial Day, 2006.  My husband is a Vietnam Veteran and we all need to take a moment today to honor them in prayer.  We would definitely not be here today without the sacrifices made by these men and women.  Thank you Veteran's!

Last week was a fantastic week.  On Wednesday I learned my CT scan was clear!  Yea!  Some small nodes remainin which have decreased in size since January.

Friday was my last day of work at SSM Rehab.  I have fully retired now.  It will  take a few tightenings of the belt on my budget but we will make it!
